We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer who does not meet our Research Use Only (RUO) eligibility requirements.

3. Research Use Only (RUO) — Legal Restrictions

ALL PRODUCTS ON THIS WEBSITE ARE INTENDED FOR RESEARCH AND LABORATORY USE ONLY. THEY ARE NOT FOR HUMAN OR VETERINARY CONSUMPTION, NOT FOR COSMETIC USE, AND NOT FOR ANY THERAPEUTIC, DIAGNOSTIC, OR MEDICINAL PURPOSE.

By placing an order, you confirm and warrant that:

You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or laboratory professional (or conduct legitimate research in a laboratory setting).
You will use all products exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research, diagnostic, and analytical testing.
You will comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations governing research peptides.
You are at least 18 years of age.
You understand that these products have not been evaluated by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) or the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

Products must not be used for any in vivo use, in clinical settings, cosmetic procedures, or wellness applications. Mislabelling, repackaging, distribution, or resale of our products as medicines, medical devices, injectables, treatments, or food supplements is strictly prohibited. All handling must comply with UK laboratory safety regulations, including COSHH and GLP where relevant. Misuse is strictly prohibited and is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

4. Orders & Payments

All orders are subject to review, verification, and acceptance. We may request additional information to verify research use before dispatch.
Payment is due in full at the time of ordering via the payment methods available on our website.
Payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant providers. We do not store full card or financial details on our servers.

5. Pricing & Taxes

All prices are displayed in GBP (£).
VAT is applied where required under UK law.
Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. The price at the time of your order applies.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 24 from our UK facility, with free UK shipping on orders over £99 and next working day dispatch.
Orders are dispatched to the delivery address provided at checkout.
Delivery estimates are guidelines only and not guaranteed.

7. Account Verification

We reserve the right to manually audit accounts and request additional verification where ordering patterns raise reasonable concern. This may include requesting proof of institutional or corporate affiliation, a valid institutional email address, or a written description of the intended research application. Accounts that cannot provide satisfactory verification may be suspended or cancelled at our discretion.

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the specialist and perishable nature of research materials, and in accordance with exemptions under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, we do not accept returns once an order has been dispatched. Refunds are only issued for damaged, faulty, or incorrectly supplied goods, subject to our Refund Policy. Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 7 calendar days of receipt with supporting photographs and order details.

9. Buyer Responsibilities

The purchaser is responsible for:

Safe handling, storage, and disposal of all products.
Use only for lawful research purposes.
Compliance with applicable UK regulations relating to the handling and use of research chemicals.

United Peptides accepts no liability for misuse, improper handling, or unlawful use of research materials.

10. Limitation of Liability

United Peptides shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from misuse of products, inability to use products, or reliance on content outside RUO scope. Our total liability in any matter is strictly limited to the purchase price of the relevant product(s).

11. Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify and hold United Peptides harmless from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:

Misuse of our products.
Human or veterinary administration.
Breach of these Terms.
Misrepresentation of buyer information.
Illegal activities or regulatory breaches.

This clause survives termination of these Terms.

12. Regulatory Changes & Product Suspension

We may suspend, restrict, or cancel supply of any product if:

The product becomes regulated or prohibited by the MHRA, UK law, or international law.
There is suspected diversion for human or veterinary use.
Safety or compliance concerns arise.

Refunds remain at our discretion in such cases.
